UK Sustainability Service Award

The UK Sustainability Service Award is presented to a Kentuckian or Kentucky-based organization that has a demonstrated record of exceptional service and lasting impact on the Commonwealth of Kentucky at a local, regional, and/or state level.

  Selection Criteria

The UK Sustainability Service Award is based on three key factors: program leadership, implementation, and outcomes.

  1. Program leadership describes the project or program that was developed to address a sustainability challenge, the resources required, and the leadership skills demonstrated to devise the project.
  2. Program implementation describes the leadership required to implement the project, defines the specifics of how and when it was implemented, and identifies project partners and how they were integrated in the project/program.
  3. The outcomes outline the goals and objectives of the program, highlight the results and benefits to the group/organization, and identify the potential for program expansion.
